Each week on The Crash Proof Retirement® Radio Show, Joann Small hosts a special Empowering Women Segment, in which she educates all listeners on the unique challenges women face when planning for retirement and the proven solutions available to them.
Joann Small discussed the biggest challenges women face in retirement in an exclusive interview with Catherine Collinson, The CEO of The Nation’s Top Retirement Research Center.
Joann Small said,
“I asked Catherine Collinson, who is the President of Transamerica Institute and Center for Retirement Studies. Let’s hear what Catherine had to say about the biggest challenge that women have in retirement.
With all the obstacles that women face today in retirement, Catherine, what’s their biggest challenge?”
Catherine Collinson said,
“One of the greatest challenges and opportunities is to define a plan. The world ahead of us is filled with many new and exciting opportunities and challenges. And building a plan that’s robust enough, so that we can set long term goals yet adjust with changing market conditions, not to mention how our personal situations are going to evolve over time, is really a key to success. Retirement really is a journey even more than it is a destination.”
