On today’s Crash Proof Retirement Show, Phil Cannella, Joann Small and new co-host Dick Morris will discuss the impact of Tuesday’s mid-term elections on the next two years of politics in the United States and more specifically, the impact on the legacy of President Barack Obama.
With the Republicans now enjoying control of both sides of Congress—the House and Senate—how will the legislative branch work in conjunction with the President? Obama says he’s heard the voters’ message ‘loud and clear’ and pledges to work in harmony with Congress for his remaining time in office. But his administration has been marred to this point by an inability to avoid partisan politics in the best interest of the American people. Phil, Joann and Dick give their thoughts on whether this will change in 2015.
But most importantly, how will the new political landscape affect your bottom line? The stock market hit another all-time high this week in the wave of post-election euphoria—is it possible for the good times to continue on Wall Street for the rest of 2014? And what does 2015 hold in store?
Lastly, we’re now less than two years from the 2016 Presidential election! Our hosts will discuss a few of the names in the mix for the White House race, and what the next couple years of campaigning will mean from a political—and economic—standpoint.
Don’t forget to stay tuned from 12 noon—1 p.m. for The New Dick Morris Show, where the political insider will be joined by Phil Cannella and Joann Small to discuss the political climate of our country in further detail.
